Woman believes her daughter was sexually assaulted


Dickinson police responded to a child abuse call on Monday morning at Century Apartments.
A woman said she believes her 5-year-old daughter was molested by a 14 year old at the building on the 1000th block of 21st Street West. Police are currently investigating the case.
Roommate feud leads to hundreds of dollars in damages


The Stark County Sheriff’s Office received an assault charge on 100 Walnut Street in Gladstone on Sunday.
A woman claimed that she was punched by her roommate and used a scratch on her nose as evidence of the alleged attack.
The victim called the department back on Monday morning, reporting her roommate had destroyed five of six trash bags’ worth of clothing. She claims destruction of her clothes totaled $985 in damages.
The alleged suspect has not been located for comment by the police. Officials said they will pursue the case to receive her side of the story.
Deposited money smelled of marijuana
An employee at American Bank Center called police on Monday morning regarding a deposit of cash that smelled like marijuana.
Police have a suspect but have passed the case to the drug task force.

Police responded to a trespassing call on the 400th block of Gress Street on Monday morning. Landowners reported that two people were living in a trailer, which was parked on their property. No charges were pressed.

The victim reported charges from Colorado were being made on their card. Police have a potential address but no suspect. The department will contact agencies in different jurisdictions to locate a suspect.

A vehicle parked on Villard Street was vandalized on Monday afternoon. Nothing was taken from the truck, but the rear window was smashed, resulting in $200 worth of damages.
Possessions stolen from an unlocked vehicle in Dickinson
A vehicle parked at the Century Apartments on the 1000th block of 21st Street West was broken into on Monday afternoon. Owners of the van claimed that the title of the vehicle along with a mini trumpet were stolen. Police do not have any suspects.
