Man arrested for parole violation


Police removed and arrested a Dickinson man from an apartment Thursday morning.
According to reports, a man broke into an apartment on the 1000th block of Meadows Drive and upon request, would not leave. Officers arrested the man for a parole violation, which was issued in California. He is being held without bond until a preliminary hearing.
2 injured after vehicle rollover


The Stark County Sheriff’s Office responded to a rollover Wednesday on Highway 10 West in South Heart.
According to reports, a woman lost control of the vehicle she was driving after her cell phone rang, which startled her. The vehicle rolled over and ended in a nearby ditch.
The woman and a male passenger sustained scrapes and minor bruising from the incident. Both were transported to Dickinson’s hospital.
Woman cited for domestic abuse
A woman was cited for simple assault domestic abuse Wednesday on the 300th block of Main Street in Dickinson.
According to reports, a woman and a male were cooking when a verbal dispute broke out. The incident escalated, resulting in the woman hitting the male with the end of a frying pan.
