A 39-year-old Dickinson man driving with a suspended license was arrested after providing false information to a law enforcement officer, a Class A misdemeanor, during a traffic stop at 11:40 p.m. Thursday. He gave the Dickinson police officer who stopped him a false name, according to the report.

  • Equipments bags from two 14-year-old Dickinson baseball players were reported stolen outside of Southside Ballpark on Thursday. The bags each contained baseball gloves, helmets, cleats and bats, along with other assorted equipment. Police say the bags contained hundreds of dollars worth of gear, but no specific value has been placed on either bag. Police are working with the Dickinson Baseball Club to confirm the bags were stolen.
