Police Blotter: Man arrested for meth after home invasion

Dickinson Police were called to a residence on the 900 block of Eighth Street East around 8 a.m. Tuesday for a report of two subjects that were trespassing there.

Dickinson Police were called to a residence on the 900 block of Eighth Street East around 8 a.m. Tuesday for a report of two subjects that were trespassing there.

Officers discovered and arrested 23-year-old Dickinson resident Kolten Taylor for trespassing and possession of methamphetamine, a Class C felony. A 28-year-old Dickinson woman was also arrested for trespassing.

  •  A 13-year-old boy is being referred to juvenile court after authorities discovered him to be in possession of a suspected drug Tuesday morning at Hagen Junior High School. The drug was sent to the state crime laboratory for testing.
  •  Police removed a 52-year-old homeless man from the Dickinson Public Library around 2:50 p.m. Tuesday, after which he was cited for having an open alcohol container on the street.
  •  A vehicle was reported to have some or all of its tires slashed Tuesday afternoon on the 300 block of Second Street Southwest.
  •  A traffic stop in the Paragon parking lot around 8:40 p.m. Tuesday yielded the arrest of a 33-year-old Dickinson woman for driving under suspension, as well as for theft of services concerning an earlier gas drive-off. A 24-year-old Dickinson man was also arrested for possession of marijuana.
