Police Blotter: Safe containing $30,000 in cash, items stolen from Dickinson home

Dickinson residents reported Wednesday that their home on the 800 block of Seventh Street East had been broken into and a safe containing $30,000 worth of items was stolen.

Dickinson residents reported Wednesday that their home on the 800 block of Seventh Street East had been broken into and a safe containing $30,000 worth of items was stolen.

The safe was said to have contained cash, jewelry and other valuable items.

Police found no signs of forced entry. The case is under investigation.

 

  • A window was reported broken at the old St. Joseph's Hospital building on Seventh Street West, causing an estimated $500 in damage. Police have no suspects. The building has been the site of multiple vandalisms, police say.
  • A window was reported to have been broken out of a building in Prairie Outpost Park sometime before 4 p.m. Wednesday.
  • A 21-year-old Dickinson man was arrested for resisting arrest outside of Perkins on the 1200 block of Third Avenue West around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday following an erratic driving complaint against the man.
