A Dickinson man reported his son had stolen three checks from him on Wednesday. Two of the checks appeared to have been cashed for $2,500 a piece, while the third one written for $4,500 was stopped by the bank before it could be cashed. The case is currently under investigation.
- There was damage to a street sign on Seventh Avenue Southwest in Dickinson on Wednesday afternoon, police said. It is believed the damage may have been caused by a motor vehicle crash. Damage is estimated to be around $100.
