An individual reported Saturday evening that his vehicle on the 2800 block of Fifth Avenue Southeast had its windshield broken, a tire slashed, sugar poured into the gas tank and its surface scratched. The man said an ex-girlfriend might be a suspect. Though a garage estimate has yet to be made, Capt. Dave Wilkie of the Dickinson Police Department estimated the damage to be at least $5,000.

  • A woman on the 600 block of South Main Avenue reported around 4 a.m. Sunday that a man had tried to gain access to her house by removing screens from a window. She reportedly encountered him with a gun, and he left. The man is possibly the same individual who fled a stolen vehicle during a traffic stop during the same night.
  • An individual reported Monday afternoon that they sent $1,000 via Moneygram to Las Vegas for an initial payment on a vehicle, after which they never received a vehicle. The matter has been forwarded to Las Vegas authorities.
  • A 20-year-old Dickinson man was charged with driving under suspension on the 700 block of Eighth Street Southwest around 12:15 a.m. Friday.
  • A 24-year-old Dickinson man was arrested for simple assault following an altercation with a roommate at a residence on the 600 block of 24th Street West around 4:40 a.m. Friday.
  • A 22-year-old Dickinson man was picked up on two Stark County warrants and a Kidder County warrant -- all of them for driving under suspension -- during a traffic stop on the 10 block of First Street Southwest around 9 a.m. Friday.
  • Employees at Blue Hawk Square were examining a homeless person’s personal items that were left on the premises Friday morning when they noticed that three of the facility’s vacuums were missing, with an estimated combined value of around $1,200. Employees aren’t sure if the incidents are related.
  • An individual reported Friday morning that floodlights and a mailbox on property on the 500 block of South Main Avenue had been vandalized in the past three weeks, with around $25 in damage. There are no suspects.
  • A car dolly was reported stolen from West Dakota Oil on Friday morning, valued at $300. There are no suspects.
  • A traffic stop near Dakota Community Bank around 11 a.m. Friday yielded the arrest of a 26-year-old Dickinson man for illegal possession of a concealed weapon when officers found a 5½-inch knife on him. The man also had an outstanding city warrant for simple assault and a Stark County warrant for a 24/7 violation.
  • A man reported Friday evening that he had cashed his $735 income tax return check at Wal-Mart and accidentally left the cash in the stall of the restroom. It was gone when he returned. There are no suspects.
  • The Holiday gas station reported Friday evening that a $50 calling card had been stolen. There is a suspect.
  • Two Belfield women, ages 18 and 20, were arrested for retail theft of $281.50 in merchandise from Wal-Mart around 8 p.m. Friday.
  • A 25-year-old Dickinson man was cited for simple assault following an altercation at a residence on the 200 block of Second Street East around 1:10 a.m. Saturday.
  • A 26-year-old Dickinson man was arrested for his second DUI, as well as possession of marijuana paraphernalia and resisting arrest, during a traffic stop near the Holiday gas station around 1:45 a.m. Saturday.
  • A 20-year-old Dickinson man was charged with driving under suspension on the corner of Anna Street and Fourth Avenue Southwest around 8 p.m. Saturday.
  • A 25-year-old Dickinson man was arrested for his third DUI offence and possession of marijuana paraphernalia at 10:30 p.m. Saturday near Arby’s.
  • A 19-year-old Dickinson man was cited for minor in possession of alcohol during a traffic stop on the 200 block of Third Avenue West around 11:50 p.m. Saturday.
  • A 36-year-old Dickinson man was arrested for driving under the influence during a traffic stop on the 1000 block of 12th Street West around 12:40 a.m. Sunday.
  • A 37-year-old Fargo man was arrested for driving under the influence around 3:15 a.m. Sunday by Burger King.
  • A 2015 SSR pit bike motorcycle was reported missing from the 100 block of Fourth Avenue West on Sunday morning. Wilkie said the bike had to be pushed away since it is missing crucial parts. There are no suspects.
  • An individual on the 700 block of Aldrich Street reported Sunday afternoon that he and another man had gotten into an argument before the latter threw a water bottle and broke the window on the individual’s door. Damage is estimated at $30.
  • An iPhone 6 valued around $500 was reported missing Sunday afternoon at West River Community Center. Police are waiting on surveillance video.
  • A work computer in a case was reported stolen from a vehicle parked in a driveway on the 30 block of Fourth Street Southwest on Monday morning. There are no suspects.
  • A report of domestic violence on the 500 block of First Avenue East on Monday morning has been forwarded to the city attorney for consideration of charges.
  • A 26-inch Kent La Jolla bike valued at $200 was reported missing from the 500 block of Eighth Avenue Southwest on Monday morning. There are no suspects.
