A knife-wielding woman was arrested at the Blue Hawks Square apartment complex early Saturday morning.

Officers were called to the scene at around 2:30 a.m. after a male in a dark hat and clothing was seen running into the building. There they found Priscilla Kirschke, 20, of Dickinson, who would not tell officers who the man was but instead pulled a knife out of her pocket.

When officers told Kirscke to drop the knife, Dickinson Police Captain David Wilkie said, she opened it up and yelled obscenities at them.

Officers brought the woman to the ground and took her knife away. She is being charged only with carrying a concealed weapon. Police could not find the mystery man seen running into the building.

A fight at the Paragon last Thursday night resulted in two arrests.

Matthew Schadle, 23, of Dickinson, and Michael Vinish, 54, of South Heart, engaged “in mutual combat” outside the sports club and bowling alley, Dickinson Police Department Captain David Wilkie said.

The two men had been talking smack when Schadle called Vinish outside, where the older man hit Schadle over the head with a beer bottle.

Despite injuries, Schadle declined treatment. The two were arrested for tumultuous conduct.

“They’d both been drinking,” Wilkie said.
