BISMARCK -- Word of a fight Sunday at Kirkwood Mall has gained traction on Facebook this week and the incident is under investigation by the Bismarck Police Department.

Officer Pat Renz said a woman carrying a 2-year-old child was attacked by four female suspects Sunday afternoon on the mall's south concourse near the Scheels entrance.

The 20-year-old woman and the alleged attackers appear to know one another, Renz said. Others in the mall came to her when the attack broke out.

A video of the fight captured by a witness has been shared more than 2,000 times on Facebook.

Renz said no weapons were used, and no one sustained injuries requiring medical attention.
