GRAND FORKS -- A South Dakota man found last month rolling in the snow naked and assaulting a police officer with handcuffs was arrested Tuesday in Grand Forks..
On Dec. 12, police were sent to the parking lot at an apartment complex on 43rd Street in Grand Forks for a report of a naked man rolling in the snow and "acting strangely," according to court documents.
When officers arrived, they tried to subdue Dylan Craig Olson, 19, of Madison, S.D., by pinning him against a vehicle in the parking lot, according to court documents.
While trying to arrest Olson, who was screaming, he hit the arresting officer with his right fist, causing the handcuffs attached to his wrist to hit the officer's head, police said.
Olson was taken to Altru Hospital to be treated for hypothermia and synthetic drug ingestion.
