A woman reported as missing earlier this month is “alive and well,” Dickinson Police said Wednesday.

Stephanie Jeffcoat, 27, was  has been removed from the National Crime Information Center database after “a reliable source” reported her to be in Dickinson as of Monday, Sgt. Kylan Klauzer said.

Authorities have not made direct contact with Jeffcoat, but have notified her family in California and they are satisfied with the reports.

“We’re just happy we can verify she was ok, and the family feels good about it,” Klauzer said.
