TRACY, Calif. (AP) -- Northern California police have served more than 15 search warrants in their attempt to hunt down whoever killed an 8-year-old girl and stuffed her body in a suitcase.

Sgt. Tony Sheneman says investigators have interviewed Sandra Cantu's neighbors and collected evidence from a local church and at least one unit at the mobile home park where she lived.

He said Wednesday that everyone questioned has been cooperative. All the warrants have been sealed and police have not named any suspects in the case.

Sandra was last seen March 27. A massive search ended Monday when her body was found in a suitcase dumped in a pond.

Sheneman says police have been in touch with Sandra's family throughout the investigation and they are "devastated."
