FARGO -- A Fargo police squad car was involved in a crash at the intersection of Main Avenue and 25th Street early Sunday evening.

The two-vehicle crash prompted traffic at that intersection to be re-routed as crews cleaned up the scene.

The police SUV had damage to its front end and the other vehicle involved, a silver four-door car, had damage to its passenger side door.

The driver of the Toyota had minor injuries in the crash. The officer in the SUV and his K9 were not hurt.

Police said the Toyota driver ran a red light at the intersection and was cited.
