In a report submitted by the State Crime Lab director on July 23, it was confirmed the white crystals were methamphetamine in combination with other substances that came to a weight of more than 61 grams.

Agencies involved in the investigation included the South Sakakawea Narcotics Task Force, North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigations, Dickinson Police Department and Stark County Sheriff's Department.
