BISMARCK -- North Dakota Public Service Commission hearings on a proposed crude oil pipeline will be in Grand Forks and Devils Lake this week.
Enbridge’s Sandpiper project would bring Bakken crude across northern North Dakota and northern Minnesota to Superior, Wis. It is expected to have an initial capacity of 225,000 barrels per day to Clearbrook, Minn., and 375,000 barrels per day to Superior.
The Grand Forks hearing begins at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Baker Courtroom at the University of North Dakota School of Law.
The Devils Lake hearing is at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Robert Fawcett Auditorium at Lake Region State College.
Another hearing will be at 8:30 a.m. Feb. 27 in the Minot City Council Chambers.
