Ruth Kinnischtzke, 83, Glen Ullin, died Thursday, Sept. 6, 2007, at the Marian Manor Health Care Center, Glen Ullin.
Ruth's funeral services area t 10:30 a.m. CDT on Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2007, at St. John Church, Hebron.
Burial is in the St. John Cemetery, Hebron.
Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 10, 2007, at Spangelo Funeral Home, Glen Ullin, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.
Ruth was born March 11, 1924, on a farm north of Glen Ullin, the daughter of Jacob B. and Christianna (Ritter) Voegele. She was raised on the farm and attended school at Frazer District No. 1. Ruth worked in a grocery store in Beulah until her marriage.

On Nov. 4, 1947, she married Oscar Kinnishtzke at the Glueckstahl Church, north of Glen Ullin.
Following marriage, they began their life on the farm.
They retired in 1973, and moved into Glen Ullin in 1977.
Ruth enjoyed her garden and flowers, making loom rugs and baking Christmas cookies.
She was a member of the St. John Church, the Women's Guild, the Haymarsh Homemakers and a longtime volunteer at the Marian Manor Nursing Home.
She is survived by her sons, Duwayne (Joan), Glen Ullin, Allan, Glen Ullin; her daughter, Darlene Kinnischtzke, Bismarck; her brothers, Eugene Voegele, Beulah, Milton and Alvin Voegele, both of Bismarck; and uncle, Fred Voegele, Bismarck.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on Nov. 25, 1978; and four brothers, Ted, Bill, Otto and Dan.
