TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) -- Ohio authorities say school bus carrying high school students has collided with a minivan, tipping both vehicles on their side and sending 10 students and three others to hospitals.

Patrol Lt. John Altman said Friday that none of the Toledo High School students' injuries were life-threatening. But he says injuries to the van's two occupants were serious.

The victims' conditions were immediately available.

Altman says the collision happened about noon as the bus was headed toward Toledo Express Airport. Students were able to crawl out of the bus through the rear emergency door and emergency hatches in the roof.

Firefighters had to cut the minivan's roof open and pull off its doors to free its two occupants.
