Steven and Kathleen Schou of Dickinson announce the marriage of their son, Joel Schou, to Medora Gruber. They were married July 17 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Waite Park, Minn.
Gruber, the daughter of Dale and Dianne Gruber of Waite Park, graduated in 1999 from Cathedral High School. She earned a degree in education from the College of St. Benedict, St. Joseph, Minn., in 2003.
Schou graduated in 1999 from Granville High School and earned a degree in art from St. John's University, Collegeville, Minn., in 2003.
They are making their home in Minneapolis where Medora teaches fourth grade at Faithful Shepherd Catholic School in Eagan, Minn., and Joel is a web designer/developer at BI in Edina, Minn.
