A Florida man was killed Thursday after overturning his semi truck 5 miles east of Dickinson on Interstate 94.

The 57-year-old man from Keystone Heights, Fla., was westbound in a 1993 Ford LA9000 truck towing a flatbed trailer around 9:30 a.m. when the vehicle left the road and entered the north ditch near the Green River Valley, , according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

The truck and trailer jackknifed and overturned. The driver was wearing a seatbelt and died at the scene.

The man’s name will be released after his family has been notified. The crash remains under investigation.
