BISMARCK (AP) -- The North Dakota National Guard says five U.S. senators paid a visit to soldiers in Kosovo on Easter Sunday.
The group included North Dakota Democrats Byron Dorgan and Kent Conrad. More than 600 North Dakota soldiers are part of a NATO peacekeeping force in Kosovo.
The other three senators were Mississippi Republican Thad Cochran, New Hampshire Republican Judd Gregg and Wyoming Republican John Barrasso.
North Dakota's lone congressman, Rep. Earl Pomeroy, visited the troops in Kosovo earlier this year.
