A Sidney, Mont., teenager is dead after a rollover accident east of Sidney in North Dakota's McKenzie County on Wednesday evening, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
Two 16-year-old girls from Sidney were traveling south in a 1999 Ford Explorer on Cheney Creek Road when the driver allegedly failed to maintain control of the vehicle, running it into the west shoulder of the road and overturning it. Both girls were ejected from the vehicle, which came to a rest on the roadway.
Authorities have not determined whether the driver or passenger died in the crash, which remains under investigation.
