Members of the Stark/Billings County 4-H team recently participated in the 2007 District 4-H Communication Arts event at the New England Public School.
Demitria Nelson received first honors in the junior division for her original dramatic presentation called "Guess Who?", Christine Hetzel received first place recognition for her original response in the senior division short takes topic "Why should older youth stay involved in 4-H?" and Jamie Hetzel got first place honors in the senior division interpretive reading with "Green Eggs and Ham."
4-H member Valerie Kerner received honorable mention in the junior division for her humorous interpretive reading entitled, "Jack's Bean Problem."
Christine and Jamie Hetzel will attend the Extension 4-H Youth Conference in Fargo in mid-June.
