Stark County Relay For Life set for tonight at DHS practice field

The Stark County Relay For Life event is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. today at the Dickinson High School practice field, located at the corner of 13th Avenue West and Fairway Street.
The event helps raise money for the American Cancer Society and is a way to remember those who have lost and survived battles with cancer.
Luminaria bags with names of those who battled cancer will be placed around the track. The public is invited to attend and walk the track throughout the night and Saturday morning.
Opening ceremonies will begin at 6 p.m., followed by the survivor lap. The bag-lighting ceremony begins at dusk and the closing ceremonies will be at 6 a.m.
