The railroad crossing at State Avenue will be closed beginning Thursday as BNSF Railway works to the crossing surface.
Work will take place from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, according to Amy McBeth, spokesperson for BNSF Railway. The section of State Avenue will be closed to traffic and motorists should watch for detour and road closure signs.
