String of vandalism strikes Dickinson, police seek identity of perpetrator

Dickinson Police Department and the Badlands Crimestoppers are offering a cash reward in seeking help identifying the perpetrator behind a string of vandalism targeting residents and business in Dickinson.

On Dec. 12th and 13th, the Dickinson Police Department received multiple reports of vehicles and businesses being vandalized by a person shooting a BB gun. Between 9:30 and 10:30 p.m., individuals driving a dark colored SUV, of unknown make and model, fired a BB gun at multiple business and vehicles around town.

The incident resulted in windows being shot out or damaged across locations on the 500 and 600 block of East Broadway, the 800 block of 7th Street East, the 800 block of 9th Street East, the 100 block of 1st Street SW and the 200 block of South Main.

Damages have exceeded $5000.

Police are asking for residents who have any information regarding these acts of vandalism to contact the Badlands Crimestoppers at 701-456-7754, or by sending a text message to 701-840-6108.
