MINOT (AP) -- One man has been arrested after a shooting at a Minot hotel that left a man wounded.
Minot police say 37-year-old Allen Rencounter shot a 66-year-old Minot man in the lobby of the Guest Lodge about 3 a.m. Sunday. He was arrested after a police chase into Stanley.
The victim's name and condition have not been released. Police say he has been hospitalized.
Rencounter faces charges of attempted murder, fleeing a law enforcement officer in a motor vehicle and reckless driving.
No number was listed for him. He's being held in the Ward County jail.
