Police expect to soon charge a man suspected of killing a pastor at a church in a St. Louis suburb.
Illinois State Police Director Larry Trent tells CBS' "The Early Show" that authorities are "hopeful" the suspect can be charged sometime Monday.
The Rev. Fred Winters was shot dead during his Sunday morning sermon at the sprawling First Baptist Church in Maryville. The first of the gunman's four rounds was deflected by the pastor's Bible.
Churchgoers wrestled the gunman to the ground as he waved a knife, slashing himself and two other people. Winters later died of his injuries.
