Taylor resident killed in rollover accident near Dickinson

An unidentified 26 year-old Taylor, ND, male resident was killed in a fatal rollover accident at 10:30 p.m. on Thursday night when the vehicle he was operating left the roadway and entered the south ditch of Highway 10, east of Dickinson.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, after entering the ditch the Subaru began to roll before going through a fence line and coming to rest in a field south of the Highway.

Responding to the scene of the crash were first responders representing the North Dakota Highway Patrol, Stark County Sheriff’s Office and Dickinson Ambulance Service.

The driver was not wearing a seatbelt restraint at the time of the crash and the vehicle’s airbags did not deploy. The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol, and additional information will be released upon the notification of next of kin.
