STARK COUNTY -- Three were injured following a three-vehicle crash three miles south of Dickinson on Friday afternoon, Oct. 13.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, a 2011 Ford Escape was struck from behind by a 2001 Ford F150 as the Escape was waiting to turn east onto southbound 42nd St. SW from Highway 22.
After striking the escape, the F150 veered into the northbound lane of Highway 22, where it struck a 2016 Ford F250 head-on.
The driver of the F150, a 66-year-old man from Scranton, N.D., was airlifted to CHI St. Alexius in Bismarck with injuries.

The driver and passenger of the F250, a 68-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman both from New England were taken by ambulance to CHI St. Alexius in Dickinson with injuries.
The condition of the driver of the Escape, a 31-year-old woman from Dickinson, was not given in the release.
All four occupants involved in the crash were wearing seatbelts.
The crash remains under investigation by the highway patrol.
