Good serving has been a trademark of Dickinson Trinity volleyball head coach Brad Foss' era.
The Titans' ability to serve was on display Thursday night as Trinity topped Beach 3-0 in Class B, Region 7 action at Knights of Columbus gymnasium.
Trinity served 13 aces on the night, including six from junior setter Keisha Kudrna.
"I think we might have had 15," Foss said. "Our serves were outstanding the whole match."
The Titans cruised to a 25-10 win in the first game and followed that with a pair of gutsy 25-16 performances.

"Early on, we were a lot better," Foss said. "We let up a little bit (in the last two games). We were always a step away from a good pass and a step away from a good set. It's something we can improve on."
Trinity's ability to serve caught the Buccaneers off guard at the right times.
Senior Katie Gordon, a defensive specialist, had four aces and senior middle hitter Kayla Boespflug added three more to her team's total.
"With this group, we're going to have to be very strong (at serving)," Foss said. "We have been stressing it more."
The Titans rolled in the first game, getting out to a 14-2 lead en route to a 1-0 advantage. The second game wasn't quite as easy as Trinity's flaws showed, allowing Beach some breathing room, though it was not enough to stop the Titans from walking away with a 2-0 lead.
The Buccaneers stormed the court in the third game, getting out to a 3-0 lead before letting Trinity back into it.
With the game knotted at 13-13, Trinity closed out the game and the match with a 12-3 run.
"We just could not pass," Beach coach Kayla Simnioniw said. "Our hitting was good. We couldn't serve receive. We had to reset our lineup this week because we have some girls sick."

Junior Noelle Steiner led Trinity in kills with five. Breanna Messer added four kills and a block.
Senior setter Chelsea Roshau led her team in assists with seven.
Beach was led by seniors Skye Tescher and Kjerstin Schillo, who each tallied five kills.
Trinity (5-3) will travel to Richardton for a match up against Richardton-Taylor on Tuesday. Beach (1-1) will play in the Center Invitational today.
