Towner man killed in rollover accident

TOWNER - A Towner man was killed in a rollover accident Sunday morning on McHenry County Road 2533.
Wade Tiffany, 35, was driving about a mile north of Towner when his 2003 Chevrolet pickup went partially off the west shoulder of the road. Tiffany overcorrected and spun off the road into the east ditch.
The vehicle rolled into the ditch and came to rest on the driver’s side against the trees. Tiffany was not wearing a seatbelt and died immediately of his injuries.
He was transported to the Anderson Funeral Home in Rugby. The North Dakota Highway Patrol and McHenry County Sheriff’s Department are investigating the crash and believe alcohol may have been a contributing factor in the incident.
