The North Dakota Department of Transportation issued a travel alert at 1:20 this afternoon for the eastern region of North Dakota due to blowing snow which is sticking to the road causing icy stretches.
The alert includes all highways and the surrounding areas of Devils Lake, Grand Forks, Drayton, Jamestown, Valley City, Fargo and Wahpeton, according to a press release.
Motorists are cautioned to be alert to changing conditions, the release says.
