MOTT -- The Dickinson Trinity girls basketball team is riding a bit of a hot streak heading into this weekend's District 14 Tournament.
Noelle Steiner scored 16 points, and added four rebounds, four assists and three steals as the Titans won their fifth consecutive game to beat Mott-Regent 57-48 in both team's regular-season finale on Monday night at the National Guard Armory.
Kaylee Schank and Shannon Ernst each caught fire from downtown and added 11 points a piece for the Titans, who capped their regular season with a 13-6 record. Ernst had three 3-pointers and Schank made two. Breanna Messer scored seven points and added a game-high six rebounds for Trinity.
Twin sisters Kim and Heather Landis led the Wildfire, who finished the regular season at 7-12. Kim Landis had team highs of 13 points and six assists while Heather Landis scored 12 points and had a six steals.
Trinity climbed out to a 25-14 lead by halftime and maintained its lead in the second half.

The Titans have a bye in the first round of the District 14 tournament after ataining the second seed. They play the winner of Hazen and Hebron-Glen Ullin at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Beulah High School.
Mott-Regent takes the fifth seed into the District 13 tournament and plays New England at 4:30 p.m. Friday at Knights of Columbus Activities Center.
