Entrance fees to the Theodore Roosevelt National Park will be waived on Monday, Jan. 18, for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
“Winter is a magical and quiet time to visit the park,” said Chief of Interpretation Eileen Andes. “Wildlife watching is spectacular as are opportunities for photography, especially with snow sparkling on the badlands. The park is beautiful right now.”
The National Park Service will waive entrance fees on 15 other days in 2016.
