Troy Curtis Orth, 48, of Silt, Colo. passed away unexpectedly March 10, 2009.
Troy was born March 5, 1961, in Eureka, S.D., to Raymond and Bernice (Biel) Orth.
He married Kimberly Kading Feb. 6, 1993, in Cheyenne Wells, Colo. Troy worked as a rig operator for the oil and gas industry for 28 years, moving to Silt six years ago from Vernal, Utah.
He loved NASCAR's Dale Earnhardt, but most of all his family.
Troy is survived by his wife; mother; son Curtis; daughters RaeAnna and Karissa; brothers Darcy, Perry and Tim; sisters Jewell, Sara, Sue, Pam and Kelly; and one grandchild on the way.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Cremation has taken place, and a memorial service was held Friday, March 13, at Rifle Funeral Home. A memorial service is being planned for April 11, in Eureka, S.D.
