Ebeltoft Sickler hires Morowski as associate lawyer

Ebeltoft Sickler Lawyers recently added Peter Morowski to their professional staff as an associate lawyer.

Morowski graduated from the Gonzaga University School of Law in Spokane, Wash., in 2010. He completed his undergraduate education at the University of Texas with a bachelor's degree in economics and anthropology.

Morowski will be focusing his practice primarily in Ebeltoft Sickler Lawyers' litigation and alternatives to litigation practice teams and real estate, mineral and environmental practice teams.

KLJ hires 4, promotes 1

KLJ, an engineering, surveying and planning firm, has promoted Jerry Krieg in the Dickinson office.

Krieg, who most recently served as the oilfield services division leader, has accepted the energy division leader position.

Krieg has nearly 30 years of experience at KLJ and has successfully led KLJ to its current position as a leader in oil and gas and the overall energy industry.

The firm also hired Brad Anderson, Josh Kleitsch, Chad Larson and Thomas Schmelzenbach in the Dickinson office.

Anderson is a surveyor with the survey group. He earned his associate degree in civil engineering from Santa Rosa Junior College and has more than 35 years of surveying experience.

Kleitsch is an engineer with the transportation group. He earned a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Colorado School of Mines and has one year of related experience.

Larson is a surveyor with the survey group. He earned his bachelor's degree in sports and fitness management from Michigan Technological University and has one year of related experience.

Schmelzenbach is an engineer with the municipal group. He earned his bachelor's degree in civil engineering from University of Vermont and has more than 20 years of engineering and construction experience.

Dept. of Human Services' Vocational Rehabilitation Program honors employees

The North Dakota Department of Human Services' Division of Vocational Rehabilitation recently honored several employees for their work assisting North Dakotans with disabilities to obtain employment.

Jamie Hetrick of Dickinson was honored as the Rookie of the Year.

This award honors a Vocational Rehabilitation employee with less than two years of service who exceeds performance goals and displays a high level of community service and involvement. The Vocational Rehabilitation program's mission is to assist individuals with disabilities to maximize their employment opportunities and to assist business owners and employers in finding solutions to disability-related issues.

Dan's honored for supporting employment opportunities for people with disabilities

Dan's Super Market of Dickinosn was recently honored by the North Dakota Department of Human Services' Division of Vocational Rehabilitation with a regional employer award.

The awards honor North Dakota business owners and employers for their continued work with the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation and for their work within their communities to support, develop and inspire individuals with disabilities to achieve their full potential.
