JAMESTOWN - Officers are at the scene of a pickup-semi collision near here that killed six men this morning.
Sgt. Josh Rude with the North Dakota Highway Patrol said the six men were in a westbound pickup on Interstate 94 when the pickup driver lost control near mile marker 257, which is just west of a main exit into Jamestown.
The pickup went through the median and was struck on the passenger side by an eastbound semi, Rude said.
The semi came to rest in the median while the pickup went into the south side ditch.
Rude said the driver and five passengers of the pickup are all deceased.

The driver of the semi was taken to Jamestown Regional Medical Center to be treated for what is believed to be non-life threatening injuries, Rude said.
Some of the men were pronounced dead at the scene while others were taken to the Jamestown hospital.
The men's identities are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
Rude said the interstate is extremely icy from Jamestown to Fargo with compacted snow in some areas. North Dakota Department of Transportation is currently on the roads, plowing and laying sand, he said.
At the time of the accident near Jamestown, about 10:50 a.m., Rude said he had responded to three non-injury crashes near Valley City.
Jamestown is 100 miles west of Fargo.
The accident is under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
