HILL CITY, S.D. – A Hill City man, identified as Andrew Burch, 25, was killed in a motorcycle crash Thursday night in Hill City.
Burchwas driving a 2002 Buel M2L motorcycle on Railroad Avenue in Hill City when he failed to negotiate a curve and lost control. The driver was thrown from the motorcycle and later died as a result of his injuries. He was not wearing a helmet and was the only occupant on the motorcycle.
South Dakota’s Highway Patrol is investigating the crash with the assistance of the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office.
