MINOT – U.S. Marshals arrested a Virginia man Thursday in Minot on a Virginia warrant for malicious wounding of a child.
Nathan Andrew Horn, 25, was arrested by members of the U.S. Marshals Service’s High Plains Fugitive Task Force at approximately 2:50 p.m. Horn is wanted by the Newport News Police Department in Virginia based on a warrant which was issued there on December 14, 2015.
Horn is alleged to have used a hot iron to burn a child’s arm.
Deputy U.S. Marshals in Minot received a request for assistance from the Marshals Service’s Capitol Area Regional Fugitive Task Force located in Washington, DC. Investigators there provided three possible addresses where Horn may found in Minot, at one of which Horn was located and arrested without incident.
Horn was transported to the Ward County Jail to await a court appearance and possible extradition to Virginia.
