Teal Waldal made back-to-back 3-pointers within 26 seconds of each other early in overtime to give Beach a lead it wouldn't relinquish.
Waldal, a junior guard, scored 10 of her team-high 21 points in overtime to help Beach defeat Killdeer 82-72 in the third-place game.
Beach had trailed since the final minute of the second quarter until Kayla Weinreis' free throws with 30 seconds left in regulation knotted the game at 63. Missed shots on both sides sent the game to overtime.
Killdeer sophomore Shalee Dolezal gave the Cowboys a 35-32 halftime lead by hitting a 3-pointer - her only points of the game - with 32 seconds left in the second quarter.
The Cowboys, who ended their season at 15-9, maintained their lead through most of the second half, getting the ball to senior center Tana Trotter in the post as often as they could.

Trotter finished with a career-high 35 points and had 12 rebounds. Both were game highs.
Abby Weinreis scored 15 points and added nine rebounds and five assists for the Buccaneers, who ended their season at 21-4.
Emily Hardy added 13 points, nine rebounds and five steals. Brittney Dietz had 13 points, four rebounds and four blocks.
Dani Sadowsky added 10 points.
