FARGO — If you take a drive along 12th Avenue North in Fargo, you can't miss it.
Near the city landfill is a giant pile of snow that municipal workers call “Mount Fargo” — the biggest snow dump in the Fargo-Moorhead metro.
As of Monday, Jan. 20, it stands at 75 feet, according to Fargo Public Works Street Supervisor Corey Houim.
It's only January, and the pile holds about 14,000 truckloads of snow.
"We're hoping spring starts next month," Houim said.
