An overturned trailer blocked the right lane of westbound traffic along Interstate 94 after an accident Wednesday morning.
North Dakota Highway Patrol Trooper Harley Steffen said Deborah Bielert, 53, Safety Harbor, Fla., was pulling a 20-foot trailer with a van near mile marker 30 around 8:30 a.m. The trailer started to fishtail and the van and the trailer tipped over onto their sides.
The van and trailer then slid on the road and struck a guardrail. The van ended up on its wheels facing west and the trailer remained on its side, blocking the right lane of traffic.
The driving lane was blocked for approximately two hours, Steffen said. The personal belongings in the trailer were scattered along the roadway, he added.
In the vehicle with Bielert were her son, Micah Bielert, 20, and Danica Tarterbull, 20, both of Safety Harbor, Fla. Deborah Bielert and Tarterbull were taken by the Medora Ambulance Service to St. Joseph's Hospital and Health Center in Dickinson, where they were treated and released.

The accident remains under investigation.
