GRAND FORKS, N.D. -- A man was injured this morning when he fell about 30 feet at a construction site on the University of North Dakota Campus.
The accident occurred about 8:44 a.m. in the area of Upson 1 and Leonard Hall, where a building expansion project is underway, UND Police Sgt. Danny Weigel said.
The worker, whose name and age were not immediately available, was transported to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, where he was being treated for non-life-threatening injuries, he said.
The victim, who is not a UND employee, was working for a drywall contractor.
The UND Police Department was assisted at the scene by Altru Ambulance and Grand Forks Fire Department.
