MINOT, N.D. — Ten employees working on a city of Minot construction project have gone into isolation after testing positive for coronavirus.
The city said in a release on Thursday night, June 25, that they weren't city employees so services wouldn't be affected.
The worksite, said Interim City Manager David Lakefield, has been closed down for cleaning and additional testing.
He said not all of the workers were from the Minot area.
“The City of Minot will continue to assist the First District Health Unit as they conduct contact tracing to track any interactions these crew members may have had either at the work site or in the community,” Lakefield said.
Lisa Clute, director of First District Health, said the city and contractors have been cooperating to "contain the spread of the virus."
