PIERRE, S.D. — Over 1,000 new cases of COVID-19 were reported to the South Dakota Department of Health on Tuesday, Nov. 17.
The state’s total case count rose by 1,006 to 67,284 on Tuesday.
The death toll remained at 644.
Active cases rose to 18,624 on Tuesday, up from Monday’s active case count of 18,139.
Current hospitalizations are at 582, which is an increase of 22 from Monday.
