BISMARCK — Following are the North Dakota Department of Health COVID-19 case rates, deaths, hospitalizations and vaccinations as of Monday, March 1. Because all data is preliminary, some numbers and totals may change from one day to the next.

Statewide case rates

  • NEW CASES: 45
  • TOTAL ACTIVE CASES: 571
  • TOTAL CASES: 99,852
  • TOTAL RECOVERED: 97,836

  • DAILY TEST POSITIVITY RATE: 3.1%

North Dakota's active case count dropped by 34 on Monday. Nineteen of the new cases came from Cass County, while five came from Burleigh County.

Hospitalizations, deaths

The North Dakota Department of Health on Monday reported the deaths of a Bowman County woman in her 60s, a Burleigh County man in his 70s and a McKenzie County woman in her 80s.

Vaccinations

  • FIRST DOSE ADMINISTERED: 133,262 (18.2% of population)

  • COMPLETED SERIES (2 doses): 74,488 (10.2% of population)
