Lolene Borsheim

Age 53 of Cottage Grove, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 1st, 2020.

Lolene, born to Paul and Janie (Hauck) Tormaschy, grew up on a farm near Gladstone, North Dakota and graduated from Dickinson High School. She attended NDSU and received her Elementary Education degree as well as her Masters in Special Education from Minnesota State University Moorhead. She would go on to pursue a multitude of licenses, including her Reading License, Special Education Director License, and Principal License. Lolene had a passion for education, and was a lifelong learner.

Lolene loved being in the outdoors, especially on her family farm in North Dakota.

As a servant of God, Lolene was active in bible study groups throughout her life. Her love for learning extended into her love of the Lord.

A faithful wife and mother, Lolene cherished her family. She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Richard; children, Hannah (Austin Wanner), Colin (McKayla), and Madison; siblings, Chad (Rhonda) Tormaschy, Jason (Lisa) Tormaschy, and Sonya (Marc) Eggert; parents, Paul, and Janie; and many other loving cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A private celebration of Lolene’s life will be held 11:00 AM CST Friday, December 11th, 2020. Service will be livestreamed to the public at OhalloranMurphy.com/obituary/Lolene-Borsheim
