She enjoyed working with people with disabilities and always had a special place in her heart for people less fortunate. She was a great defender of those in need. Carletta served on a few boards in the past and used these positions as a growth tool.
Family and friends were of utmost importance to Carletta.
She loved the casinos and going to Las Vegas with her friends, Doug and Karen. Carletta always came out a winner whether she won or not. She loved flowers and always had many different varieties in her yard. Carletta loved to travel to different places and although she wasn’t able to go everywhere she wanted, she is now in a place where she can go to all the places she ever wanted to go to. Fly High! Antique collecting was also a passion and her house was always filled with her treasures. Carletta loved art work and had a great eye for the best paintings.
Carletta is survived by her sons, Michael and Zachery; brothers, Dale (Pat), David (Char), Dennis (Melanie), Duane and Donavan; sisters, Connie Melchior and Collette (Mike) Renner; nieces and nephews, Scott, Darcy, Curt (Godchild), Cassie, Megan, Sydney, Tristan, Nicole, Denise, Ella, David James, Tyler, Scott Patrick, Mariah, Kristi (Godchild), Fawn, Jess, Casey and several great-nieces and nephews; and her dog Petie.
