Wayne Allen Cooksey

Wayne Allen Cooksey of Helotes, Texas passed away on May 30, 2020 at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. He was surrounded by family. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

Wayne was born August 25, 1940 to Roy and Evelyn Cooksey in Festus, Missouri.From there, he joined the U. S. Air Force and served from July 1958 to November 1962. Wayne served in Electronics and attended IBM’s first Computer school.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Linda Cooksey, Helotes Texas, children Alana Flurry, Helotes, Texas, Sean Cooksey, Dickinson, ND, and Kevin Cooksey (Valerie) , Phoenix Arizona. Grandchildren: Thomas Cooksey, Steven Cooksey, Sierra Cooksey, Rachel Cooksey, Emily Cooksey, Jake Cooksey, Kaycee Cooksey, Justin Francis, Tyler Francis, Bryan Francis and Zachary Francis. Great Grandchildren: Dakota Frederick, Keegan Yankush, Edward Francis, Johnathan Francis, and Step Grandchild Caleb.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Dawn Cooksey Francis Ray.
