There are countless Justins and Bens out there I want to thank for providing a helping hand when needed. Justin and Ben, a neighbor to the east and one to the west, helped plow snow out of my driveway so I could get to work this year and last. This made me think. Have I, as well as others, recognized these men and women in our community for stepping up. We complain about the wind, the snow and cold temperatures but year after year I’ve witnessed kindness and generosity of neighbors, businesses and friends clearing a path for others to get to the world outside. So maybe the silver lining to the nasty weather, is the best in others is revealed. Just today, my co-worker, Wendy, came and picked me up to go to work. So now I don’t look out the window with dread when I see the snow, I remember how I was helped in the past and how can I help someone today. I’ll always be looking for that opportunity to pay it forward. So THANKS!
